WED. NIGHT SUPPER MINISTRY
Every Wed. Night - Our Kitchen Ministry Team prepares a wonderful and delicious meal for our church family to enjoy. A time of great food, unbelievably great price, convenient and a wonderful time of fellowship just before the Wed. Evening Worship Service! They begin serving in the fellowship hall at 5:oo p.m. You can make your reservations through the Church Office or through the Bulletin "tear out" on Sunday Mornings. If you are a FIRST TIME GUEST - just come on without a reservation. We would love to have you join us for supper!
The Worship Dance Team Ministry
Our Dance Team ministry is used in Worship Services, Dramatic ministry productions and major Musical ministry productions. Our church loves the occasional addition of a worshipful, tasteful and beautiful presentation of Biblical style dance. It is also a wonderful opportunity for our young ladies who have an interest in dance to use their gift in this area for the Lord!
The Drama Ministry
For many years our Drama Ministry has blessed our church and community with first class, full-scale dramatic productions and presentations of the Gospel Message. We employ lights, costuming, sound, video, dance, instruments and just about whatever one could imagine in order to bring the Bible and Bible truths alive.
We are always looking for folks who wish to be involved in any aspect of this powerful ministry (from Sr. Youth – Sr. Adults!). If you have a gift that would enhance the Drama Ministry – let us know and come join us!
This ministry is under the direction of Pastor Jim Rinehart, our Minister of Music-Worship Leader and Pam Gallups, our Student Ministry Director.
The Deacon Team Ministry
We have a very Biblical concept of Deacon Ministry at HHBC. The Deacons do not "RUN" the church, but rather "SERVE" the church! What a thought! J They protect the peace, sanctity and integrity of our church, church family and Pastoral Ministry Staff.
Our Deacons are divided into specific ministry teams, such as Hospital Ministry, Shut-in Ministry, Invitation Counseling Ministry, Grief and Trauma Ministry, New Members Assimilation Ministry, etc. They actively seek members of the Church Family to serve on these ministry teams with them.
The Deacon Ministry is under the Direction of Mr. Mack Galbreath, our Chairman of Deacons.
The Vacation Bible School Ministry
HHBC is known in the community for having a FIRST CLASS VBS!
We use practically every resource that we can muster to make each VBS a powerful, evangelistic, discipling, and worshipful experience for all that are involved. We use the most recent Southern Baptist VBS materials coupled with the resources and gifts that the Lord has blessed HHBC with.
The Kids, Parents and community love it. Do YOU want to be a part of it?
DINNER THEATER MINISTRY
For several years now, our church has become known in the community as THE PLACE to go for a first class, Biblically sound and awesomely delicious DINNER THEATER!
Twice a year, in the Spring and the Fall we run a Dinner Theater Ministry event for 3 nights each. Each night is a complete sell-out, every time! Our youth, dressed in formal attire, serve our guests an elegant candlelight dinner and then treat our guests to a very professionally presented theater presentation of music, choreography, dance and song. All of it is used, of course, to glorify and honor Jesus! It is an event that you don't want to miss.
