"A radio interview with Kenyan Ambassador Peter N.R.O. Ogego has been widely publicized since the ambassador called President-elect Barack Obama's Kenyan birthplace a "well-known" attraction - but the embassy is now telling WND the hosts misunderstood his comments.
On Nov. 6, only two days after the election, Detroit radio talk-show hosts Mike Clark, Trudi Daniels and Marc Fellhauer on WRIF's "Mike In The Morning" called the Embassy of Kenya in Washington, D.C., to speak with Ambassador Ogego.
The radio hosts were surprised when their light-hearted interview with Ogego reignited suspicions that Obama may have been born in Kenya.
An assistant to the ambassador, referring to herself only as "Trudy," confirmed today that Ogego had indeed participated in the radio interview. But she said the show made leading statements and took the following comments out of context."

* Gov. Bill Richardson (On Obama Cabinet) says "Obama is an Immigrant"
* Obama refuses to release his Original Birth Certificate, School Records and Medical Records. They would ALL indicate his place of actual birth.
* World Net Daily has done extensive investigative research into Obama's Hawaiian roots. They can find NOT ONE SOUL on the street where he supposedly "grew up", including the woman who lives next door to his old address - who has any knowledge of Barack Obama "growing up" or even living there.
* The Birth Certificate that is posted on his site is not the original "long-form" Hawaiian Birth Certificate that would indicate the Doctor's name and the Hospital in which he was born. Obama refuses to release the "long-form" Birth Certificate. Hawaii had a law until 1971 that allowed a person born elswhere to receive a "short-form" Hawaiian Birth Certificate. * The U.S. Supreme Court refuses to even HEAR or COMMENT on Obama's citizenship status. It is their Constitutional DUTY to do so...yet they refuse...What are they hiding?
